About Rachel Peters

Rachel Peters is a writer based in Richmond, VA, where she lives with her husband and their dog, Captain Rex.

She grew up in Richmond, and went to college in Memphis, TN, where she studied Classics and English before moving back home.  She spent ten years as a middle and high school teacher, and then worked on swimming pools for a while.  Her day job is as a learning specialist.

Outside of work, she spends her time reading, writing, drinking coffee with friends and family, taking the dog for long walks, and watching horror movies.
